The Cracked Egg Diner wasTrip advisor award recognized in July by Trip Advisor for "exceptional feedback earned from travelers over the past year". This certificate is awarded to businesses that rank in the top 10% worldwide for traveler feedback. Thanks to our exceptional staff and all of our wonderful guests for helping us earn this award!

The Cracked Egg Diner makes it's first TV début on a show called Shipping Wars. We make an appearance in the second bid, won by Jarrett. In this episode he is suppose to be shipping a chocolate statue up North. But he stops in the Cracked Egg Diner. He is waiting for "Sarah", a server, who he has a big crush on. When Sarah finally shows up for her shift he manages to ask her for her phone number and after some deliberation, she finally gives him her number. He leaves a very happy man!

The City of Daytona Beach Shores was founded in 1960 by a group of local hoteliers who believed breaking away from Daytona Beach to form a small community would result in better services for area residents. While a part of Daytona Beach, the city played a role in the early history of auto racing. The Taste of the Shores celebrates this and  was held on Friday, April 15, at the Oceans Racquet and Recreation Club from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Our team of employees with their great attitudes and hard work truly help make the diner successful! To show our thanks we had an employee appreciation/Christmas party on December 21st.  Merry Christmas 2010

We had a lot of people tell us they never knew we were there! So, we had Signarama put up a new sign on A1A to help spread the word! Click here: The New Sign 2009
Bike Week 2009 can only be described as Incredible Insanity!  Chris Gonsalves suited up as our "Big Chicken". Our server, Gail's, granddaughter and a friend held signs out front and the people kept pouring in! What a fantastic week!
